MzRizk

Pioneering Lebanese Australian DJ, radio presenter, live performer/percussionist, and event curator, MzRizk has always had a powerful affinity with music. MzRizk is a self taught, community emboldened, creative chameleon that was raised on a seemingly incongruous yet wholly satisfying sonic diet of Arabic, Boogie, Jazz, Heavy Metal, House, Techno, Hip Hop, Disco, and everything in between.

Now, no one would dare mention the Australian DJ scene without dropping Rizky’s name. In the last decade MzRizk has garnered widespread acclaim as Melbourne’s leading champion of underrepresented music, and one of the city’s most respected cultural connectors. Bringing people together in unity through her wildly eclectic sets and curated events is what MzRizk does best, and no matter how refined her palette, she is constantly evolving, learning, growing, shifting with the times and being discovered by new generations of music lovers. That is the sign of a true artist.

Charlie Needs Braces

Charlie Woods, a Naarm-based GuriNgai musician, is making waves with her musical project Charlie Needs Braces. A proud descendant of Bungaree and Matora, she draws inspiration from her Aboriginal heritage and personal experiences.

Her debut album, Saltwater People, has earned acclaim, including the Archie Roach Award for Emerging Talent and support from Creative Victoria.

After the release of debut single ‘Home’ at age 19, (Co- produced by Sam Teskey) a stunning sold out first headline show at Melbourne’s Gasometer Hotel in 2021 festival performances at NYE On The Hill and Ocean Sounds and Melbourne Food and Wine Festival alongside acts such as The Teskey Brothers, Boy and Bear, Alice Ivy and more,

Wilson  began collaborating on his debut EP with Producer, Sensible J (Sampa The Great, Remi, Cool Out Sun, House Of Beige). We wanted to make something that excited us as much as it does when we listen to our favourites”

The Stamps

The Stamps—Sofia, Rubina, and Scarlett—started out in Fremantle and are now making waves across Australia. With their heartfelt lyrics and stunning harmonies, they’ve been turning heads everywhere. Their cover of Slowdive’s “Alison” was shared widely, even getting a nod from Slowdive themselves as “absolutely beautiful.” They’ve played major festivals and recently opened for Boy & Bear, earning a reputation as a band you need to see live.
